E_S (environment_sound) This project is part of the NK 205/2 project, where it is possible to use the full version of E_S. Sounds in a musical composition (tone based, sound based, rhythmical and arhythmical) are created (in the real environment) not only by the sound source, but also by the environment, where the source resides, how a person (Avatar) is moving around and how the environment reacts to it. The full version of the project contains a 3D Visual Music Instrument, where a key role is played by the movement and distance of the interacting Avatar from the sound sources in this specific environment. The „Virtual“ part allows a person to build sound compositions by determining the position of the Avatar in 3D Space. Objects modelled by the Avatar during his movement in the scene help people establish a better understanding of the causal relation between the Avatar movements and the resulting sound. The idea is to create an alternative space, filling our senses in the same way as real World understanding and bring new knowledge about the possibilities of existence. Through the use of basic relations from real life, I can create a new form of human reality in the virtual environment. Currently the full version of E_S is implemented into an object (part of the NK 205/2 project), which is enhanced by a projection allowing to feel the visual part. Thanks to the capabilities of the object, it is possible not only to see this space and hear the surround sound, but also to have a tactile feeling. It is possible to feel the touches of the environment, being filled with sound during its creation. jm
